Keya has a M.Phil. and PhD in Social Anthropology. Her doctoral dissertation examined the aspirational value of labour and formal employment for retail workers in Delhi’s malls. She has published work pertaining to issues of work and labour in academic journals. Keya previously worked as a Research Associate for a women’s rights organisation in the Northeast. She now works as a Senior Research Consultant for Syngrity and leads our research on gender, diversity and inclusion strategies for the workplace. Keya is based out of Goa and enjoys cooking and hanging out with her cats and dogs.
